Phlebotomist – Travel

Limestone Medical Center is now hiring a full time experienced travel phlebotomist certified through ASCP or AMT preferred.  Must be willing to travel to patient private homes and nursing homes around Central Texas area.  Must be able to set up appointment times with patients and work independently.  One year in a medical laboratory experience preferred. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Personal Job-Related Skills: Ability to learn technical procedures involved in laboratory testing.
3. Licensure, Registry or Certification: Registered Phlebotomist ASCP, AMT.
4. Experience:
   1. Prior Work Experience: One year experience in a medical setting preferred.
   2. Technical Training: None required.
5. Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require moderate periods of sitting and standing, lifting up to 30 pounds.  Must be able to hear equipment alarms and have vision to read labeling, instructions and to conduct tests.  The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
