Medical Assistant – Home Visit Support (Full-Time)
We’re looking for a dependable Medical Assistant to work alongside our Nurse Practitioner, Mr. Jesus Hernandez, in our Home-Visit Health Call program.
Position Overview:
- You will meet Mr. Hernandez each morning at a designated location, travel with him in his vehicle, and assist him throughout the day at patient homes. This role is hands-on and requires someone who’s steady, organized, and comfortable working independently while staying in close communication with the office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as chaperone during all home visits
- Take vitals and document findings accurately
- Review, check, and assist with medication refills
- Help coordinate and order labs, imaging, and other clinical needs
- Maintain clear communication between Mr. Hernandez and our office staff
- Support smooth scheduling, patient flow, and any day-to-day needs during visits
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Travel required; you will ride with the nurse practitioner to each home
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (or equivalent experience)
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in patient homes
- Strong communication and basic clinical skills
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to the meeting point
