LMC is seeking an Infection, Prevention and Control Registered Nurse. Infection control professional refers to a person whose primary training is in either nursing, medical technology, microbiology, or epidemiology and who has acquired additional training in Infection Control.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Personal Job-Related Skills: Should have strong organization and interpersonal skills; be able to work independently, posse’s leadership and management skills.
Licensure, Registry or Certification: Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas. BCLS Certification, CPR, PALS and ACLS completion card.
Experience:
Prior Work Experience: Two years experience working as a Registered Nurse. One year working as an Infection Control nurse.
Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require moderate physical activity. Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting when moving or supporting patient who suddenly become weak or helpless.
