Custodian/Housekeeping (Nights FT)

JOB SUMMARY:  Performs duties involved in cleaning and sanitizing furnishing and areas assigned. This position is for Nights 6pm - 6am.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Personal Job-Related Skills: Ability to read and write.

Experience:

1. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred.
2. Knowledge of facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning techniques.
3. Familiarity with floor care, including buffing and waxing.
4. Other duties as assigned by Manager or Administration.

Skills:

1. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
   Ability to work independently and efficiently
2. Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
3. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.

Physical and Mental Requirements: Position requires extended periods of walking and standing.  Lifting up to 50 pounds and transporting up to 300 pounds on carts.  Pushing and pulling of carts, bending, stooping and reaching in storing supplies and cleaning activities.  The ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instructions or directions.
