Description
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take vital signs and record patient information accurately
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound care and specimen collection
- Assist in transporting patients to various departments within the healthcare facility
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment
Skills
- Experience in medical-surgical, outpatient, OR, emergency medicine, hospital medicine settings
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Experience
- One year experience preferred
